Blackrock - Falls City Oregon
Never heard of Blackrock? Time to clear your schedule and load up the rig—this place is freeride history in the making.
The blood, sweat, and creativity poured into Blackrock by its trail builders are the secret sauce that makes this zone so legendary. Years of volunteer hours have turned it into one of the most renowned trail systems around, and it’s still getting better.
Blackrock’s got four main trails: 'Bonzai Downhill' (BD), 'Sickter Gnar' (SG), 'Sunday Stroll/Brake Check,' and 'Grannies Kitchen' (GK). For those who like to spice things up, there’s 'Slayer,' running parallel to SG4, and 'Dino’s Runaround,' a sneaky line off BD4.
Down at the base, 'Basic Training' serves up a skills area packed with wooden skinnies, ladders, and dirt-to-wood jumps, giving you a taste of what’s to come as you head up the mountain.
