Guess who’s back? It’s the best digital MTB newspaper, bringing you the good stuff: Jaxon Riddle style so fresh it should come with a warning label. The big question: how many bikes is “enough”? One of the longest flow trails in the world. LET'S SEND IT👇

Jaxson’s riding is like a TED Talk on style—except with more air time and way fewer words. His signature moto moves? Pure entertainment gold.

But honestly, we’re just out here hoping he hit a solid yoga sesh before throwing down extensions like that. (Imagine explaining a pulled hip flexer to your chiropractor: “Yeah, I was mid Double Can-Can in the desert…”)

Jaxson, keep sending it. And maybe keep a foam roller handy too.

Video of the Day

What’s that sound? Oh, just some brake-squealing action that could wake up the entire forest.

In Trading Backyards, Hannah Bergemann and Matt Bolton hit the road swapping their go-to shredding spots.

Hannah brings the flowy vibes and some spicy chutes that’ll make your stomach drop faster than your favorite taco stand’s out-of-guac sign. Matt counters with BC slabs so gnarly they might as well come with a “Don’t Look Down” disclaimer.

Brake squawks, wild lines, and backyard flexing—what’s not to love? Hit play and get ready to drool over some epic trails.

Key moment: Matt Bolton bottoming out at 4:04.

Question of the Day

What is the “appropriate” number of bikes to own?

The average mountain biker owns 2-3 bikes according to Enduro Mountain Bike Magazine, but let’s be real: is there ever really enough?

You’ve got the trail bike, the downhill rig, and the hardtail for “training” (aka showing off your wheelies).

As for upgrading, most riders snag a new bike every 3-5 years—though we all know that one guy who claims his 2008 clunker is “just as good as the new stuff.” We also know that 22% of riders reported plans to buy a new bike within the next 12 months.

Why the upgrades? Because bikes age like avocados, and new tech (or new colors) is impossible to resist.

So, whether you’re at 2 bikes or 12, just remember: N+1 is always the right answer.

Bike Porn

You know we’re suckers for a raw downhill rig, and Nico Vink’s Transition TR11 is one of the best.

Let’s talk about those Öhlins upgrades: TTX22m.2 shock: Smoother than a fresh jar of peanut butter. DH38 m.1 fork with custom lowers and crowns from Fast Forward: Basically, the F1 of suspension setups.

Shoutout to Christobal Batlle for the 🔥 photos.

Trail of the Day

Fifty Six Twenty - Revelstoke

This trail has been on our bucket list for some time. When you’ve got a trail named Fifty Six Twenty, you know it’s gonna be an epic journey. This beast drops 5,620 vertical feet (thank you, RMR’s Stoke Chair), stretching 15 glorious kilometers from the alpine to the base village. That’s not just a trail—it’s a commitment.

What’s on the menu? Intermediate flow that serves up tabletops, step-ups, step-downs, and butter smooth berms.

Getting there? You’ve got options:

Ride the Revelation Gondola (worth every penny of that pass). Earn it with a 7 km climb up The Stoke Climb (leg day, anyone?). Skip straight to dessert by hopping on Guilt Trip at the top of the gondola. Whether you’re chasing flow or testing your endurance, Fifty Six Twenty delivers.

Laugh of the Day

We all know one riding buddy with the bike collection addiction 😂
