Today’s all about the videos with two absolute heaters that’ll make you want to quit your job and ride full-time. Consider your Wednesday officially upgraded.

Video(s) Of The Day (BOGO)
Clay Porter just dropped the hammer with this one. It feels like we just finished a Orange Theory workout our heart rate is so high.
After 12 years with DEITY, Bas van Steenbergen has been a key face in the brand’s evolution.
To celebrate, DEITY brought in Clay Porter to capture Bas at warp speed, full style, and with enough precision to make a surgeon jealous.
The result? ‘Purple Reign’. A video so good, you’ll probably start looking at purple bike parts immediately.

We’ve been craving a Semenuk edit. We put it out into the universe, crossed our fingers, and guess what… it actually happened!
And in typical Semenuk fashion, it’s an absolute masterpiece.
The man’s bag of tricks is bottomless, and just when we think we’ve seen it all, he drops something that melts our brains all over again.
Hit play, sit back, and prepare to be humbled. 👇

In case you missed it, Lucas Borba just set a freaking speed record. Don't blink!
History - The Commencal Chronicles: From Garage Dreams to Global Shredding Machines

Ever wondered how a small garage in Andorra turned into a global mountain bike empire?
Buckle up, because the story of Commencal Bikes has everything.
Big dreams, fast bikes, and a refusal to follow the rules.
Humble Beginnings
The Max Effect In 2000, Max Commencal parted ways with Sunn, grabbed a wrench, and said, “Fine, I’ll do it myself.”
Armed with a vision, a tiny workspace, and probably a lot of espresso, he launched Commencal Bikes, determined to craft machines that weren’t just fast, but fun as hell.

Making Waves Early
On By 2005, Commencal had introduced the Meta and Supreme DH, two bikes that didn’t just turn heads, they took over podiums.
Anne-Caroline Chausson rode a Supreme DH to World Championship glory, proving that Commencal wasn’t just here to participate, they were here to ruin everyone’s day on race day.
Aluminum or Bust
While the rest of the industry was sprinting towards carbon everything, Max Commencal pulled a full “Nah, we’re good.”
After seeing how carbon frames were made (spoiler: not great for workers or the planet), he stuck with aluminum, giving Commencal the ability to tweak designs quickly and keep things strong, durable, and affordable.

No Middlemen, No Problem
In a power move, Commencal ditched the middlemen and went direct-to-consumer.
That meant better prices for riders and a closer connection to the community (which is a polite way of saying they can hear you complain about shipping times in real-time).

Going Global
From its humble Andorran roots, Commencal spread like loam-covered wildfire, setting up HQs in the USA, Canada, Australia, and beyond.
Family Business, Race Team Mentality
Commencal isn’t just a brand, it’s a family affair.
Max’s kids are involved, their race teams feel like a brotherhood, and at this point, they probably have more podiums than family members.

What’s Next?
After two decades of shredding, Commencal isn’t slowing down.
They’re pushing boundaries, building wild new bikes, and keeping their rebellious streak alive.
From a garage in Andorra to the top of podiums around the world, Commencal has proved that sticking to your gut and refusing to follow trends can actually work.
Here’s to many more years of fast bikes and big sends!

Dream Rides ❤️

This Bronson build definitely caught our eye. Clean, dialed, and ready to party.
And judging by the backdrop in these photos, we’re guessing the riding there is just as exceptional as the bike.
Now, who’s got directions? Asking for a friend… 👀

Trail of the Day
Guardians - Chico, CA

If you enjoy cheating death on two wheels, Guardians Trail is calling your name. Originally not built for bikes (but we all know how that goes), this Chico classic delivers brutal rock gardens, off-camber corners, and washed-out sections with 20-foot drops.
The upper section is mostly flat with big rock faces that may or may not force a hike-a-bike. The middle section is a tree-covered rollercoaster with rock features like the infamous Toilet Bowl, short punchy climbs, and fast, flowy singletrack. The lower section? More tricky rock puzzles, more exposure, and zero room for error.
Ride it fast, ride it smart, and maybe bring a spare derailleur (or two).

Laugh of the Day
“On your left”… 😂
That’s all for today folks. We hope everyone gets some saddle time out there. See you all tomorrow! 🤙
For the ❤️ of two wheels.
