The UCI just dropped its MTB Financial Obligations for 2025, and here’s the tea: top-tier World Series teams might need to shell out €40,000 just to play.
That’s nearly quadruple the 2023 fees—because who needs budget-friendly racing, right?
Prize money, though? Stuck in a time warp—still €3,750 for a win and €10,000 for the series title. Basically, team fees are doing the big send, but prize money isn’t even bunny-hopping.
Warner Bros. Discovery and local organizers handle the cash, so let’s hope they’ve got deep pockets and good vibes to help.
