No trails in the area? Guess an old bobsled track will work.
Just another day of Matt Jones doing Matt Jones things.

From a tiny coastal town in Tasmania to riding with the pros, Sascha Kim’s journey isn’t your average “I just rode my bike up a hill” story.
Sascha was too busy creating his own trails, sculpting jumps, and pretty much inventing mountain biking where there were zero trails to ride.
Whether he’s racing or representing Giant, Sascha’s approach to life is simple: dig deep, push yourself, and make it look cool.

Bonus: One of the few legally sanctioned double black diamond trails in Sedona.
Hardline is the latest gravity-defying masterpiece, built under the shadow of Cathedral Rock with equal parts vision, stubbornness, and a boatload of trail tools.
USFS, local orgs, and a gritty crew of volunteers (shoutout Lars Romig, full-time rock wrangler) put in the work to shape what’s already being called Sedona’s next iconic line.
This new documentary doesn’t just show the sick angles and sketchy chutes.
It dives into the red tape rodeo behind trail building in a place where rattlesnakes and bureaucracy both love to sunbathe.
If you’ve ever wondered how trails actually get built (not just who rode them first) this one’s a must-watch.

Esteban Muñoz Galeano didn’t quite land it, but at least the bike is still alive and well… talk about reflexes!
Cape Epic 2025 Grand Finale Results

PC: Michael Chiaretta
The 2025 Absa Cape Epic has come to a thrilling close, and if you thought it was all about grit and glory, you’re only half right.
Sure, there was blood, sweat, and tears (mostly sweat), but there were also incredible views, a few questionable wardrobe choices, and moments where it felt like the bikes had more stamina than the riders.
Let’s dive into the final stage results.
2025 Cape Epic Overall Standing - UCI Women

The final stage was a showdown of true champions.
The women’s race was nothing short of thrilling, with Annika Langvad and Sofia Gomez Villafane dominating the competition and securing victory with a well-earned 21-minute lead.

2025 Cape Epic Overall Standing - UCI Men
On the men’s side, Schurter and Colombo faced an intense battle, fending off Luca Braidot and Simone Avondetto in a race that stretched across 23 hours.

The final margin? A nail-biting one-minute gap.
It’s the kind of heart-pounding finish we’ve come to expect from the Cape Epic, and it’s a reminder of just how high the stakes were for everyone in the race.

In the end, the Cape Epic proved one thing: If you can survive this race, you can survive anything.
And if you can do it with style. Well, that’s just the cherry on top of a very sweaty, very muddy cake.
Until next year!

Trail of the Day
Captain Ahab (lower) - Moab, Utah

Captain Ahab (Lower) is the kind of trail that makes you question your line choices before rewarding you with some of the best flow in Moab.
This double black diamond ◆◆ beast serves up steep rock rolls, ledge drops, and sniper line choices that’ll either make you feel like a hero or a human yard sale.
Pro tip: Stay light on the pedals, trust the rock grip, and don’t forget to soak in the views… if you can spare a second.
