Photo of the Day
And just like that, another year of jaw-dropping, mind-blowing photography comes to an end.
Photo of the Day is one of our favorite traditions, and every year the talent of the photographers and athletes we feature leaves us in awe.
For this final spotlight of 2024, we had some tough choices. So many incredible shots left a mark. But there was one we kept coming back to: LĂ©o Grosgurin's stunning capture of Arthur Deblonde ripping it up on the trails of France.
This shot is art. Perfectly composed, beautifully lit, and packed with raw energy.
Itâs the kind of image that makes you want to grab your bike and head straight for the dirt. Thatâs the inspiration we look for in every photo we share.
Hereâs to another year of inspiring imageryâand to all the photographers and riders who make it happen. Cheers to 2024, and we canât wait to see whatâs in store for 2025!

Video of the DayYear
This is the last video of the day (or in this case year) that weâll be sharing for 2024.
As you can imagine, it was incredibly challenging to pick the best of the best to wrap the year.
Do we pick the video with the biggest sends? The best athletes? The most epic scenery?
At the end of the day, we kept coming back to a video that was simple. No crazy sends. Just a pure 180 seconds of art and a reminder of why we love mountain biking so much.
Filmed this winter in British Columbia before the snow really fell, Jackson Goldstone spent a couple days looking for the side hits and the bonus air miles on familiar trails.
The result was captured by Scott Secco and set to a beautiful score.
This is Solo. ENJOY!

Industry Update
GT is no more?

GT Bicycles, a prominent name in the cycling industry, has announced a significant restructuring plan that includes pausing new product releases and liquidating existing inventory. This strategic shift, initiated by parent company Pon Holdings, aims to realign the brand with evolving market demands.
As a result of this restructuring, GT Bicycles has terminated its support for professional athletes, leaving many without sponsorships for the upcoming season. Notable riders affected by this decision include:
- Wyn Masters: The Kiwi king of downhill and enduro. If youâve seen WynTV, you know this guy is a vibe.
- Brage Vestavik: Freeride's wild child, known for his jaw-dropping sends and heavy-metal edits.
- Tyler McCaul: The OG freerider and slopestyle maestro.
- Eliott Lapotre: The French trick machine, always pushing the boundaries of whatâs possible.
- Hans Rey: A literal living legend. Trials, adventure riding, and an inspiration for generations.
The cycling world is buzzing: Whatâs next for these athletes? Can GT make a comeback? The full impact of GT Bicycles' operational pause on the broader cycling industry remains to be seen.

Bike Porn

As we close out the year, we kept it simple for our last Bike Porn feature: If we could pick just one bike to stash in our garage, what would it be?
The answer? A PROPAIN Positive Replica.
This thing is an absolute rocket ship, built to devour race tracks and spit out podiums.
Highlights include:
- Ăhlins Suspension
- Shimano Saint Brakes: When it comes to stopping power, these are the gold standard.
- NEWMEN Beskar 30 DH Wheels: Durable enough to survive a season of chaos and keep rolling strong.
Basically, this bike screams performance, and weâre here for it.
To the folks at Propain Bikes who are reading this (wink, wink), thereâs still time to make our Christmas dreams come true. Just saying.
Hereâs to a year of drool-worthy rides and to whatever 2025 has in store for us. Cheers!
Got a bike that makes your friends drool? We wanna see it! Shoot us an email at editorial@thesenditdaily.com, and maybe your ride will be the next superstar.

Trail of the Day
Redline - Mt. Bachelor Bend Oregon

Alright, folks, if youâre ready to crank the stoke meter to 11, let me tell you about Redline. This isnât just a black diamond jump trail. Itâs a downhill riderâs dream come to life.
Built by the trail sorcerers at Dirt Mechanics, along with pro downhiller Kyle Jameson and the Mt. Bachelor Bike Park crew, Redline isnât just a trail; itâs a masterpiece. They used every bit of natural terrain under Red Chair to create a gravity-fed line that flows like water but hits like a freight train.
Oh, and hereâs the kicker: this beauty gets tuned and watered every single morning. That means fresh, primo conditions every time you drop in. Itâs open daily from noon to 7 PM, giving you plenty of time to lap it until your legs (or your nerve) give out.
So grab your full-face, pump up those tires, and get ready for a ride thatâll make you want to fist bump the entire trail crew on your way down.
