Photo Of The Day

Brage Vestavik’s latest edit just dropped, so of course he snagged the POD spot.

Bonus points if you can figure out what on earth is in his back pocket... because honestly, we’re stumped. 🤔

Video Of The Day

MUST WATCH! 🔥

What happens when Brage Vestavik takes his bike to Alaska? Planet Alaska.

A film packed with jaw-dropping lines, terrifying cliffs, and Brage sending it like a Viking on vacation.

Shot by BLURMEDIA, it's part freeride flick, part "how is his bike still in one piece?"

The man’s riding terrain that most of us wouldn’t hike, let alone bomb down.

It’s not just about big sends. It's a raw, wild ode to freeride.

⏰ Watch time - 22 min 27 sec

BONUS: Brian Cahal just dropped 10 years of footage... and it’s straight fire. 🔥

It’s banger after banger after banger. Basically a highlight reel of send-it moments you’ll want to watch (and rewatch).

Hit play, crank the volume, and prepare to get stoked.

⏰ Watch time - 8 min 3 sec

The mountain bike film game has reached a ridiculously high level over the past decade but I have always felt that standing trackside with a zoom cam remains one of the best ways to capture the speed and power of the rider. Of course there is a place for artistic expression through high level film techniques with the latest and greatest equipment, but it is easy to fall into the trap of making the filming the focus of the video, rather than the rider. The best high level productions walk this line perfectly. With the pan/zoom style the goal is to have the filming completely fade into the background, so the viewer can be fully immersed in the riding. This style of filming, combined with a well picked song, and good editing is all that is needed to make a video that has just as strong of an impression as a video with 10x the production.

Send Of The Day

We can't get over this. Is this the greatest comeback in MTB history?

Rob Warner: The Loudest Voice, Wildest Stories, and Most Legendary Mullet in Mountain Biking

PC: Bartek Wolinski

If mountain biking were a rock band, Rob Warner would be the frontman.

Shirt off, beer in hand, and somehow still hitting every note perfectly.

The man is a walking highlight reel with a voice that could wake the dead and stories that make you question if he’s lived nine lives.

Warner stumbled into mountain biking in the early 90s when he realized motocross was expensive and bikes didn’t need gas.

Just guts and a tolerance for crashing.

By 1996, he became the first British rider to win a World Cup downhill race.

His victory celebration? Probably involved beer, shouting, and something that’s now outlawed in three countries.

Classic Warner.

But while his racing career was impressive (and filled with questionable line choices), it’s his post-racing antics that truly made him a legend.

Transitioning to commentary, Warner brought the same energy to the mic that he did to the trails.

Unfiltered, unpredictable, and absolutely hilarious.

Watching a World Cup without his voice is like riding without a front wheel: technically possible but just wrong.

He’s the guy who yells things like, “Look at the time! He’s faster than a rat up a drainpipe!” and somehow, it works.

His commentary turns every race into must-see TV, blending genuine excitement with phrases your brain can’t unhear (and your grandma probably shouldn’t).

Beyond the jokes and chaos, Warner’s influence on the sport is massive.

Rob still knows how to party on a bike. PC: Lukas Pilz

He made mountain biking accessible, fun, and relatable.

New fans tune in for the racing but stay for Rob’s outbursts, bizarre metaphors, and occasional beer-fueled rants.

He’s the voice of a generation, and that generation is covered in dirt and can’t feel their legs after a long descent.

So here’s to Rob Warner: racer, commentator, and mountain biking’s lovable wildcard.

The sport wouldn’t be the same without him… and honestly, we wouldn’t want it any other way. 🍻

BONUS: Our favorite Rob Warner quotes

“He’s hanging on like a cat on a washing line!”
“He hit that corner so hard he’s going to need new underpants!”
“That was wilder than a bag of snakes!”
“He’s pedaling like a man being chased by a swarm of bees!”
“He’s pulling that bike around like it owes him money!”

BUILT.

This owner had the cash to snag an S-Works… then said, “Why stop there?” and threw another $5K in upgrades at it.
