Mountain Unicycle? - The Send It Daily - 347

Smooth lines, wild rides, custom builds, sketchy descents, pro-level flow, Kyrgyzstan adventures, citrusy trails, and just enough chaos to keep us grinning till Friday. LET'S SEND IT 👇

744 words of pure stoke.
Read time: 3 min 36 seconds.

Yup. That’s a unicycle. It will all make sense when you keep reading.

Photo of the Day

Riding into the heart of Kyrgyzstan.

Tom Oehler and Rene Wildhaber take on the edge of the Alai Mountains, feeling the rush of adrenaline as they descend from Sary Bel Pass.

Eight days of adventure, all leading to this stunning moment.

Video of the Day

Lokal Pokal is your new favorite homie cam edit (basically if Spielberg swapped Hollywood for a shovel and a GoPro).

It’s got everything:

Dirt flying.

Dads trying to stay relevant.

Kids who are better than you at bikes.

This behind-the-scenes banger shows what it really takes to build a jump line, stack clips, and pass the torch (and the shovel) to the next generation.

Watch it, laugh, get inspired, and then go text your buddies “we should totally build something like this.” (You won’t, but hey, dreams are free.)

⏰ Watch time - 5 min 31 sec

Bonus: Ronan’s pace is insane.

It’s like he’s gliding effortlessly, making every section look like a breeze.

Watching him ride is a reminder that there’s always someone quicker - and it’s him.

⏰ Watch time - 2 min 36 sec

Send Save of the Day

Insane grip strength and smooth lines for days.

Ways to Get Down the Hill (Without a Bike)

Think bikes are the only way to yeet yourself downhill in style?

Think again.

The internet is a magical place full of people with questionable judgment and zero chill.

Here are three absolute lunatics (heroes?) showing us how to shred without a shred of sense:

1. Unicycle – Because balance is a personality trait

This guy looked at a mountain bike and said, “Too easy.”

One wheel, zero suspension, and a whole lot of courage.

Is it sketchy? Yes. Is it impressive? Also yes.

2. Mountain Rollerblades – The hill will decide

Rollerblades... but make them all-terrain.

It’s like if Tony Hawk and a goat had a baby.

Zero control, 100% commitment, and we’re 90% sure these things were invented by someone mid-divorce.

3. Tread Skateboard – For when you want to snowboard in the summer but hate having control

This off-road treadmill skateboard thing looks like it was built in a shed with spare tank parts and blind optimism.

It climbs. It bombs. It absolutely should not exist. But we can’t stop watching.

Moral of the story? If it rolls downhill, someone will try to ride it.

Call it innovation. Call it a cry for help.

Either way, we salute these gravity gremlins for reminding us that it’s not about how you get down the mountain, it’s about how funny it looks when you do.

Dream Rides ❤️

This build’s too clean and too mean.

Fully armored with an M02 Mudguard and dripping in 2025-season sauce.

Let the drooling commence.

We wanna see it! Shoot us an email at editorial@thesenditdaily.com, and maybe your ride will be the next superstar.

Trail of the Day

Pamplemousse - Alice Lake & Highlands

PC: Geeorg Kaltenbrunher

Welcome to Pamplemousse — the citrusy slap in the face you didn’t know your tires needed. 🍊

Built lovingly by hand over 3 years and 3,400 hours (yes, they counted), this tech-flow masterpiece from Ride BC and friends is a spicy blend of precision, power, and “holy sh*t, that’s a gap.”

Carved into Squamish Nation territory, this trail slices through some of the most beautiful forest you’ll ever try not to crash in.

She’s got it all: exposed bench cuts, steep corners, optional gaps, and no patience for poor cornering.

First time down? Take it easy, hero.

This ain’t your flowy blue.

Laugh of the Day

We all have that riding buddy 😂

That’s all for this today folks. We hope everyone gets some saddle time out there. See you all tomorrow! 🤙
