Legacy Bike Park - The Send It Daily - 291

Legacy Bike Park - The Send It Daily - 291

We've got a LOADED edition for your Monday. Two huge videos, a debate on wheels size, a bike park you probably never heard of, and so much more. LET'S SEND IT👇

913 words of pure stoke.
Read time: 4 min 22 seconds.

Photo of the Day

While the rest of us are still wiping the sleep from our eyes, Myriam Nicole is already pinning it past the speed of caffeine. Mondays don’t stand a chance.

Video(s) of the Day

Double the stoke, double the fun. We’ve got a BOGO for you today. One’s long, one’s short, both are absolute bangers.

First up we have RACER.

Two world-class racers. Two brutal injuries. Two absolutely bonkers comebacks. Amaury Pierron and Myriam Nicole went from yard sales of the highest order to standing back on the top step of the World Cup podium and RACER takes you inside every gnarly moment.

This isn’t just a feel-good comeback story; it’s suspension-testing, bone-rattling, mind-melting madness.

Elite racing is a savage mix of machine-like precision and human fragility, and this film pulls back the curtain on just how close that line really is.

Block off an evening (or leave work early) and watch this 👇

“Super stoked to have this documentary of my 2024 season because it was a nightmare, and now we have the chance to see really how tough it was, even if it didn’t look that way. I’ll be happy to watch it when I’m a Grandpa!”
Amaury Pierron, 2x World Cup overall winner

We spent the weekend digging for a video that had us absolutely frothing, but nothing quite hit that Send It Daily level of chef’s kiss perfection. 👌

So, we’re hitting rewind and throwing it back to one of our all-time favorites from last year.

Brett Rheeder’s MONOCHROME always delivers.

Haven’t seen it? Congrats, today’s your lucky day. Seen it already? Watch it again. Good taste never gets old.👇

Opinion: Wheel Size Wars: Have We Reached Peak Big?

First, it was 26-inch, then 27.5, and now 29ers are king. Every time we think we’ve hit the limit, someone slaps on a bigger set of hoops and says, "Trust me, bro, it rolls better."

But will wheels keep growing until we’re all pedaling tractor tires down rock gardens?

Honestly, we don’t think so.

While 32-inch and even 36-inch wheels have been popping up as experiments, they come with some serious drawbacks. Mainly weight, sluggish handling, and the fact that normal humans don’t have giraffe-length inseams.

At some point, physics fights back. Bigger wheels mean longer frames, higher bottom brackets, and geometry that starts feeling like a semi-truck on tight switchbacks.

29-inch wheels have already forced bike designers to rethink everything from chainstay length to fork offset. Going any bigger might just be diminishing returns.

So, while the bike industry loves a good "new standard", we think we’ve hit peak big with 29ers.

Will 36ers be a niche thing? Sure. But unless we start riding fire roads exclusively, don’t expect your next enduro rig to look like a downhill unicycle anytime soon.

Dream Rides ❤️

Introducing the Zoceli Vysoko. The high-pivot bike that's hiding its chain like it's in witness protection.

This sleek machine boasts a stealthy design with a hidden chain system, aiming to keep things smooth and silent on the trails.

It's like the bike equivalent of a ninja: swift, silent, and ready to tackle any terrain.

For those who love a clean look and innovative engineering, the Vysoko might just be your next dream ride.

Trail(s) of the Day

Legacy Bike Park - Lakeside, Montana

PC: Jack Dawe

Tucked away in the mountains of Montana, Legacy Bike Park is what happens when flow, tech, and good ol’ dirt magic come together.

This place is packed with fast, machine-built flow trails, raw tech, and enough jumps to keep your suspension honest.

Whether you’re chasing big send energy or just want to rip some perfectly sculpted berms, Legacy’s got you covered.

Trails range from beginner-friendly cruisers to full-gas pro lines. So whether you’re here to keep it chill or make some questionable life choices, there’s a trail for you.

The views are unreal, the dirt is prime, and the whole place feels like Montana’s best-kept riding secret.

Added bonus that Semenuk shot his ARRAY film at the park to give us a sneak peak. Oh, you haven’t seen it? Stop what you’re doing and watch now👇
