We’re up late every night, fueled by caffeine (and questionable life choices), trying to bring you the best email to grace your inbox. Today, we’ve got dirt surfing, a save of the day, and we tackle the big question: Is MTB actually growing, or are we just seeing more people casing jumps? All that and more. LET'S SEND IT👇

Poll Results Are In: Y’all Are a Wild Bunch 🤘🔥
We can now confirm two things:
A) We’ve got some serious senders reading this daily, and B) A lot of you think MTB comps are officially teetering on the edge of full-on madness.

Photo Of The Day
No need to adjust your screen.
That little dot clinging to the mountain? Yes, that is Gee Atherton ripping down the edge of a cliff, in Switzerland.
Casual. 🔥

Video Of The Day
Do yourself a favor.
Take 90 seconds out of your day and watch Ronan Dunne absolutely dismantle terrain on an e-bike.
We’ve already run this video at least 10 times, and honestly, we’re still trying to figure out how he’s basically surfing on dirt.
⏰ Watch time - 1 min 34 sec
BONUS: We love a good comeback story, and this one is basically "Rocky IV" but on two wheels.
Last year, Jackson Goldstone took a massive slam on this very course. This year? He came back swinging and absolutely dominated.
Hit play and watch redemption in real time. Cue the epic soundtrack. 🎥

Is Mountain Biking Growing? You Bet Your Mud-Covered Shorts It Is!

2024 was a tough year for the bike industry which got us wondering: If bike companies are struggling is the sport still growing?
Well, strap on your knee pads and tighten that chin strap because we dove into the numbers and they're more exciting than accidentally clearing a double you meant to roll.

More Riders, More Sketchy Overtakes
We don’t have 2024 numbers yet but according to Statista, in 2023, over 9.2 million people in the U.S. hit the trails, marking a 4.1% increase from the previous year. That’s a lot of fresh tire tracks, and probably a few more beginners sending it a little too hard on their first ride.
The MTB Economy Is Projected To Boom
The global mountain bike market was valued at $7.01 billion in 2023 and is projected to nearly double to $15.49 billion by 2030. That’s a lot of carbon frames, Kashima-coated forks, and questionable gear purchases your bank account wasn’t ready for.
E-Bikes Are Taking Over (Whether You Like It or Not)
According to PeopleForBikes, online sales of mountain bikes, including e-bikes, jumped 30% in early 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. Which means more people zooming past you on climbs while pretending to “barely use boost mode.”

Trail Explosion (Not Literally, Hopefully)
New trails are popping up faster than enduro riders switching sponsors. Take Michigan's Dragon Trail at Hardy Dam, which was crowned Best New Backcountry Trail of 2024 (proof that even flat states can get rowdy).
MTB Is Becoming a Spectator Sport? Who Knew?
The 2024 UCI Mountain Bike World Series saw a half-million increase in viewers per race compared to 2023. Meaning more people than ever are watching pros do what we all think we can do. Just, you know, faster and without the hospital visit.
So, is mountain biking growing? It would appear so.
Whether you’re a seasoned sender, a weekend warrior, or just trying not to OTB on a blue trail, there’s never been a better time to ride.
Just don’t forget to buy your trail builders a beer. They’ve been working overtime. 🍻
Dream Rides ❤️

Crew Turley’s ride is looking straight-up dreamy. Like, "makes you consider unnecessary upgrades" dreamy.
The Chromag touches? Absolute perfection. Would trade a kidney for this build.
Got a bike that makes your friends drool? We wanna see it! Shoot us an email at editorial@thesenditdaily.com, and maybe your ride will be the next superstar.

Trail of the Day
Lemurian Delirium - Mount Shasta, CA

Tucked away in the little town of Mt. Shasta, a crew of pro builders and dedicated volunteers have been quietly crafting some of the best trails in Northern California.
One of the best-kept secrets? Lemurian Delirium.
A fast, flowy ripper that wraps up with some absolutely massive hits.
We had to dig deep into the send tank just to clear the booters at the end.
If you ever find yourself rolling through NorCal, hit up the Gateway trail network.
And don’t even think about leaving without a tri-tip sandwich from Mt. Shasta Super Market.
Trust us.

Laugh of the Day
Do we tell her? 😂
That’s all for today folks. We hope everyone gets some saddle time out there. See you all tomorrow! 🤙
For the ❤️ of two wheels.
